Dr. Robert McBride, DDS

Education & Background

Dr. McBride completed his undergraduate education at Southern Utah University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to complete dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS). Upon completion of dental school, he relocated to Portland Oregon where he attended Oregon Health Science University and completed his Certificate of Endodontics.

After completing his training at Ohio State, Dr. McBride practiced as a general dentist in Broomfield, Colorado for five years. The experience and knowledge he gained during his time as a dentist sets him apart from other endodontists.

Values

Early on in his dental career, Dr. McBride realized that the greatest concern for most patients is to avoid pain and inconvenience when planning and receiving dental care. The peak of his concern was often related to root canal treatment, inspiring him to focus his entire career on this field.

Today, Dr. McBride offers root canal treatments of the highest quality at Colorado Root Canal Specialist in Thornton, Colorado. Offering sound root canal treatment in a comfortable and caring environment is his top priority.

Family & Interests

Dr. McBride has been happily married for over 11 years and he and his wife have 4 wonderful children. He enjoys time with his family, hiking, skiing, and going to the park. He is also an active member at his church and participates in triathalons.

Dr Jacob Surjan, DDS, MS

It is my pleasure that the amazing Colorado Root Canal Specialist team has welcomed me aboard.

In 2016, I attended endodontic residency at the Oregon Health and Sciences University where Dr. McBride and I met and became fast friends. He and I kept in touch, and when the opportunity to join his practice arose, my wife, three kids, and I made the decision to move to beautiful Colorado.

A little background about me, I completed dental school at the University of IL at Chicago in 2006 and practiced general dentistry in the Chicagoland area for 10 years. For six of those years, I owned a practice in Hinsdale, IL. I was also a part-time clinical faculty member at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove for five years. I completed my endodontic residency and MS degree from OHSU in 2018 and returned to the Chicagoland area where I practiced endodontics for three years.

I am excited about this new chapter, and I look forward to working with you. It is my goal to provide the same level of detail and care for your patients as you have come to expect from Colorado Root Canal Specialist.
